Here's a very pretty Happy New Year postcard featuring a sunset scene of a small, snow-covered village alongside a meandering stream. There's a bouquet of holly at the top. In the lower left corner is the number "6550" and in the lower right corner, "COPYRIGHT 1909 BY JULIUS BIEN & CO. N.Y.".
The card is postmarked from Allegheny, Pennsylvania, on December 30, but the year isn't legible. It's addressed to a Mr. Henry Thomas of Bolivar, West Virginia, from a James M. Moten.

Condition: Very good, I'd say. It's obviously postally used but the stamp has fallen off. The edges are just a bit rough and the upper left corner has a small crease. There's a small spot of paper stuck to the front in the sky to the left of the houses. The back has a faintly discolored area. (Please see scans.)
